project theme; vintage.

to be able to start drawing straight away we have been given three themes;

vintage; collections, antiques.
shiney; reflective
straight edge; architecture.

i obviously chose to study vintage. and we have been given a number of drawing tasks to start off the project. from our drawings we will eventually translate them into stripes and checks but studying the colours and surfaces of the drawing. i will also form a definate colour scheme to work with on the looms and in the constructed textile workshop.

i must;

- be creative and have an experimental approach.
- be innovative.
- carry out secondary and primary research.
- use a broad range of materials.
- indentify a market; shop, retail, interiors, fashion, buildings, spaces etc.
- explore my ideas.
- create a number of constructed textile samples.
